What Is Deaf Relay?
Deaf relay interpreters are deaf professionals who work alongside British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters to assist members of the deaf community who are not fluent in BSL.
An individual may not be fluent in BSL due to any number of different reasons. This may be because of a learning difficulties or mental health issues, or because they make be more familiar with a sign language from another country.

NRCPD Qualified Interpreters
We have an extensive network of Deaf Relay interpreters, all of whom are NRCPD qualified. Our deaf relay interpreters usually work with the same BSL interpreter for most of their work, allowing for seamless communication between the two.

We can provide vetted, DBS checked interpreters, and we ask that our linguists sign a code of conduct and data protection agreement before undertaking any work with us. This is to ensure professionalism and compliance with GDPR regulations.
